Registration Procedure

Proceed to our registration page where you will be asked to provide your personal details.

When you have filled in your details you will be presented with a summary that you will be asked to confirm. Upon confirmation, a number of payment options will be available to you.

Finally, you will need to organize your own travel and accommodation.

Submitting an Abstract

The current list of abstract titles is available for viewing now

To submit an abstract for a talk or poster presentation:

  1. Create a new folder or directory on your machine, and download the document template emac07.tex and the abstract template abstract.tex to this folder.
  2. Edit abstract.tex to provide your personal details and the details of your talk or poster, following the instructions contained within the file. For your reference, the file example.tex shows an example of a completed abstract. Under no circumstances should you edit the file emac07.tex.
  3. Process the file emac07.tex with LaTeX (version 2e) and ensure the file processes correctly with no errors.
  4. When your abstract processes correctly, proceed to the submission page.

The Standard and Early-Bird fees include a Conference Book of Abstracts, the Welcome Reception, all morning and afternoon teas, all lunches, and the Conference Dinner.

The Day Rate includes a Conference Book of Abstracts, morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.

‡ Additional places at the Conference Dinner can be purchased at the rate of AUD100 per person.

§ Additional lunches can be purchased at the rate of AUD20 per lunch per person.

¶ Additional places at the Reception can be purchased at the rate of AUD30 per person.

Late / On-Site Registration

Late or onsite registrations may be accepted.

Cancellations

Any cancellations from June 1, 2007 onwards will incur a $50 administration fee. All registration fees will be fully refunded if cancellations are made before June 1, 2007.
